Getting to the University (Google Maps)


From the south: Take the M1 to junction 33 (A630, signposted to City Centre), go about 5 miles to a very large roundabout with flyover above. Turn right and follow the signs for the university. From the north: Take M1 to J36, follow A61 into Sheffield. The University Roundabout is the BIG roundabout after you get into the centre of the city (junction with A57).


Take No. 60 from outside the train station (just to the right of the glass entrance way). You want to get off at the Glossop Road / University stop which is just after a large crossroads next to a tall grey building. It will cost you 95p


Take a Blue or Yellow tram in the direction of the University (labeled Middlewood Road or Malin Bridge), it will cost you between £1.50 and £2.70 depending where you get on.


Coaches bringing large groups should stop for drop off, pick-up to the rear of the Octagon on Durham Road.   Parking for cars is to the rear of the Octagon building on Durham Road.
